Library Talk Series | Author Talk

As part of the NUST Central Library’s Library Talk Series, we were honored to host an Author Talk on July 29, 2026, featuring Chief Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer, author of Prohibition of Interest: Judgement of the Federal Shariat Court on Riba; Mr. Qanit Khalilullah, author of Breaking the Trap of Debt, Inflation, Interest and Poverty; and Professor Dr. Muhammad Zahid Siddique.

The distinguished speakers examined the prohibition of interest, debt-driven poverty, and sound economic policies from Islamic, legal, and academic perspectives. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, fostering meaningful dialogue among faculty, researchers, and students.

Through its Library Talk Series, NUST Central Library continues to create opportunities for scholarly exchange, critical thinking, and intellectual engagement within the university community.
